Smithson. His attitudes typify the Trump base. They call themselves 'patriots' but they'd be very happy to see ALL Trump investigations stop and Mueller be fired. If they had their way, they'd prefer an authoritarian-Putin type leadership wher investigative journalism is crushed, journalists are imprisoned and killed, and investigators like Mueller end up with radiation poisoning.

Making the case that Trumps finances have "nothing to do with Russia" is stupid, corrupt, and shows he's hiding something. Trump's finances have EVERYTHING to do with Russia.
Yes, with people like John D. Smithson... it could happen here. Check out this post where he calls for Mueller's firing.Williamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05861596158055480390noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5984952856191232846.post-69103268708074405942017-05-13T10:35:00.001-07:002017-05-13T10:35:47.494-07:00Quick guide to the corruption of Donald Trump and familyThe investigation on Trump's involvements in world-wide corruption is well underway. Following the money is essential. Here is the some of the most recent breaking news and a new investigative documentary on his business ties:

Someone who calls himself a pastor, conservative blogger John D. Smithson of "Midknight Review", now a huge Trump supporter, went through a hypocritical transformation that was pretty amazing.

During the GOP primaries, John D. Smithson wrote the following about Trump:

"The Confederate Right Wing of the GOP, aka Trump supporters"

"If Trump thinks Putin is anything but a thugish killer, I will not vote for him."

"Trump is no Conservative. Proof? This Sunday's morning shows"

" Reasons for rejecting Donald Trump as a pretend conservative: I can't imagine that he will make it through the GOP primaries and I know absolutely no one who likes the man . . . . . too full of himself and his mouth, it reminds me of a fish out of water, trying to get oxygen. "

"His four bankruptcies indicate, in part, poor personal judgement (Politifact, here) . I believe they also indicated a personal disregard for the trust of those who trusted in your promise to pay." (link here)

"
Lets talk about who is the real moron, here. You support a man who is already backing off his pledge to deport the masses. Read his immigration paper and see if you can find a hint of his pledge to deport 11 million illegals. He ain't going to do it. Gun control: he will nominate someone like his sister to the High Court. He has already made that clear . . . . and she is a gun ownership hater. Apparently he is in love with the KKK and David Duke. He thinks the confederate flag (note the small "c") is a righteous symbol of some kind. He and Putin are going to get along "just fine." Wow, we should all be happy for Putin. He can't spell, but that probably doesn't bother you. He uses bankruptcies to balance his expenses, making him a first class cheat. But maybe you don't know how bankruptcy works for a con man. What the con artist does is promise and promise and promise to pay for goods and services received, knowing all along that he has no intentions of paying for those goods and services. One bankruptcy? You got yourself in a bind. Four bankruptcies costing 20,000 jobs and millions and millions of dollars to folks/investors/subcontractors/vendors who believed his crap lies . . . . . he did it on purpose with the intent of defrauding. Defense of that crap is what I call moronic." (link here) -- J.D. Smithson

He published a list of reasons why to reject Trump. Now he kisses Trump's ass. Smithson is in LOVE with Trump. The guy who says about himself

"I’m speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things." ... "I have a very very high aptitude"... "I have the best words."

-- D.J Trump

Smithson defends the Russian interference in our election, oblivious to the fact that Trump is playing right into Putin's hands, and he calls himself and Trump, "Patriots."

Smithson says: "So what. The Russians have been hacking into our elections for 30 years."

What?

I pointed out:

"The framers of the Constitution intended that the Electoral College guard against the possibility that a foreign power influences the outcome of a presidential election. In Federalist No. 68, Alexander Hamilton wrote that a major purpose of the Electoral College was to stop 'foreign powers to gain an improper ascendant in our councils.' He said that the College would Guard against all danger of this sort … with the most provident and judicious attention from the electors.”

This blog reopens in light of the new threat to America: Donald Trump

Is it mandate?

1) Consider the fact, we have a new President elect that is now losing the popular vote by 2,676,670 votes, who won by a mere 106,000 votes in 3 key states. The less-than-500 counties that Clinton won nationwide combined to generate 64% of America's economic activity in 2015. The more-than-2,600 counties that Trump won combined to generate only 36% of the country's economic activity last year. Clinton, in other words, carried nearly two-thirds of the American economy.

2) Also, consider the fact that since 1992, Democratic White House winners have won the popular vote by an average of 7.1 million votes while Republican White House winners have won the popular vote by an average of 84,000 votes.

3) This makes the Democratic party the winner of the popular vote for president in 6 of the last 7 elections.

Looking at the big picture... this is clearly, NOT a mandate. It is more like 'America held hostage' by an electoral system that is undemocratic and by a dangerously incompetent and regressive party whose president elect is a proven liar, a pathological narcissist, a racist, and by all accounts a non-reader and shallow thinker.

The American public is in grave danger with this regressive regime. It is clearly 'white identity politics' driving this regime, with a little help of Russian hackers and a huge level of gullibility to fake news among the American populace. It is not unlike Germany in the 1930s when a forceful speaker and demigod named Adolph took the nation with promises of making it great again. Joseph Goebbels would be having a field day with social media in today's America.

The resistance will be strong and hopefully, a more fact based society will emerge, probably only after the Trump regime begins to fail. And... they will fail.
Jesus argued that Roman commercialism had corrupted Jewish society. Jesus was a trouble maker to the Romans and made his feelings known. The only time Jesus was ever documented in the Gospls using physical force was when he expells the money changers from the temple. The small few elite Jews were getting very rich cooperating with the Romans while most were being dispossessed and taxed into oblivion. Under Roman rule, their society was becoming dominated by a wealthy arrogant elite grinding down on an increasingly desperate working class. This disparity was against the principles of Jesus, and the Bible is clear on these values:

But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. On what political side do we see anti-government militias? On which side do we hear most of the anti immigrant hate coming from?

Answer the question teabaggers. How are those "second amendment remedies" workin out for you?

Why did Sarah Palin remove the crosshairs then say they were just "surveyors scopes."

Why did Glenn Beck remove a website photo of a gun?

Why has Roger Ailes told his Fox News employees to "tone down the rhetoric."?

Who is responsible for the gun culture? Gov. Jan Brewer [R] signed a bill allowing loaded guns in bars and restaurants, as well as another that prohibits property owners from banning guns from parking areas, so long as the weapons are kept locked in vehicles. And in July, Arizona became the only state in the nation with a large urban population to allow U.S. citizens 21 and older to carry a concealed weapon without a permit. Lawmakers in 2010 blocked a bill that would have allowed university and community-college faculty to carry guns on school grounds, but Rep. Jack Harper [R], has proposed the bill again this year.

Noooo, the teabagger conservatives don't want to answer these questions. Ingram Entertainment employee Serr8d was too much of a coward to entertain these questions. Kind of reminds me of what teaparty racist candidate Tancredo said in Nashville last year that Obama was elected by: "people who could not even spell the word 'vote' or say it in English.'... Further characterizing Democrats as "the cult of multiculturalism" and endorsing the return of Jim Crow laws.

The AZ shooter also was paranoid about US currency and returning to the gold standard... a topic that Glenn Beck talks about all the time. Wonder where he heard that?

There are extremists on both sides of course, but with the Right-wing, it's a bit different. The paranoid and conspiratorial style is much more mainstream, especially with Beck and Fox. On Fox, there are shadowy links between Soros, the Tides Foundation, and other liberal causes that aim to bring America down. Obama is at once fascist and a socialist. Don't forget Palin's dark insinuations about Obama's ties with terrorists and HCR's agenda to impose of Death Panels. Of course, you have questions about Obama birth certificate sadly mainstream when Republican representatives and candidates claim it's still an issue. Candidates and elected officials calling for "second amendment remedies", carrying signs promoting insurrection "Don't Tread on Me" and saying they want their constituents "armed and dangerous." Wake up, this is not an isolated incident. This is what passes for morality for the religious right wing teabaggers jumping to her defense.

It is shocking that anyone would have supported this candidate, who claimed American scientists had created mice with "fully functioning human brains." "We can not afford to have him in the White House at such a critical time."

"This should be enough to have him removed from office immediately......he is now the highest security risk to this nation," Obamababble observed.

"What you are seeing folks is the human unraveling and development of a self-delusional, irrational madman becoming unhinged. Can anyone say Hitler?"
