Gallup Poll: Lowest approval for Republican Party ever measured

Where is the Republican Party going? Answer: into the shitter.

GOP image goes from bad to worse

WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Republican Party has hit a new low.

Just 34 percent of Americans in a Gallup Poll released Thursday say they have a favorable view of the party, down from 40 percent from a month ago, before the election.

What’s worse: 61 percent of Americans have an unfavorable view of the Republican Party.

According to Gallup, that unfavorable rating is the highest the polling organization has recorded for the GOP since the measure was established in 1992.

55% currently hold a favorable view of the Democratic Party and only 39% an unfavorable view

Remember this the next time you hear someone refer to Democrats as the "liberal fringe." We can see who the 'fringe' is now.

Wow, the GOP has a bad approval rating at this time? this is news why? apparently you didn't hear about the latest presidental election... the good thing about politics is things happens in cycles..dems are in control now but let's have the same discussion in a few years....if there isn't a "positve" change (economy)in the country with the dems controlling the WH and congress, guess what will happen to the approval rating of the democratic party? William, your hatred of the GOP is quite obvious and sad - right up there with your hatred of organzied religion. do you even have any GOP friends? do you respect their opinions? just wondering.

I'd say that Obama has a significantly more difficult job ahead of him than the soon to ex-pretendsident did. Given that, even if he did everything in the first hundred days the reichwing KKKristianists would continue their stupid fucking rants. I don't hat people that are stupid enough to believe that a GOD (any god will do) could favor THEM over all the other creatures in the universe; or, that, beating up on the poor, the sick and the different in order to make sure nobody sees the top 1% stealing even more money for themselves.

But, I surely do hate it when they try to run MY LIFE. Get a grip on reality and when you want to pray, please do so quietly and with those who want to join in.

Since you're not addressing anyone in particular, I'll take the question.

Yes--a fair number of them, actually. Not one of them will admit to having voted for the McStain/ImPalinator ticket. They are, most of them, in a dither about what to do going forward, since it's obvious to most of them that their party has been hijacked by KKKristian racist fundies.

The GOP is fst becoming the Goobers Only Party.
