Palin - a true believer: our soldiers "were sent out on a task that is from God"

Truly scary is any leader who believes their judgment and policies are correct because they are "on a mission from god."

That is Sarah Palin - the Republican prospective VP.

Listen to her speak ... sounds like Rosanne Barr meets John Hagee:
Video - Palin says war is our leadership's mission from god. "...our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God."

Video - Palin says, "I think God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that."

Palin's pastor, Ed Kalnins preaches repeatedly about the "end times" or "last days," an apocalyptic prophesy held by a small but vocal group of Christian leaders. During his appearance with Palin in June, he declared, "I believe Alaska is one of the refuge states in the last days, and hundreds of thousands of people are going to come to the state to seek refuge and the church has to be ready to minister to them." Check this out on Palin's church (cult).

Holy Shit.

Just saw the speech. Almost vomited. The number of lies that she delivered with a perfectly straight face was breathtaking.

yeah, right up there with Obama's prayer at the Western Wall "And make me an instrument of your [God]will." He wants to do God's work but that's ok, right?
